Product #1 : Gyokuro Green Tea Powder
Gyokuro is a ‘shade grown’ green tea. 20 days prior to picking the bush is shaded. Workers erect a bamboo frame above the tea bush and use rice straw to create a ‘roof’ which shades the tea plant. Shading the plants causes a change in the make-up of the amino acids in the tea!
This makes the tea milder than green tea grown entirely in the sun like Sencha. Like all our teas – the tea leafs are then picked by hand.
Gyokuro green tea powder is made from a secret blend of 3 different shade grown tea breeds which are blended by a genuine ‘Tea Finishing Master’ (who is also Izumi’s Uncle).
Gyokuro has the mildest taste compared to our other green tea powders, and is the tea which won the 2007 & 2008 award as the best tasting green tea in the world.
Great both hot and cold but more customers prefer it hot.

Product # 2 : Matcha Powder
Matcha is a shade grown green tea. This is the tea typically used for the famous Japanese Tea Ceremony. Compared to Gyokuro powder, it has ‘grassier’ taste.
This powdered tea has been consumed by Samurai Warriers, Zen Monks, and ancient Japanese people primarily for medicinal purpose since the 7th Century A.D..
Great for both hot and cold but more customers prefer it cold.

Product # 3: Red Tea Powder
The Japanese Red Tea Powder was introduced to the USA & Japan for the first time by Haraki-Gordon Green Tea, Inc. It was just released in January 2009.
It has a naturally mild taste and great aroma. It is a blend of 5 different green tea breeds and has been slightly aged (the names and blend of the tea breeds is top secret!). This tea looks and tastes much like the tea most Americans are used to.
As with all of our teas, it can be served with lemon and sweetened with honey or Agave.
Great both hot or cold
*Has a Higher caffeine content compared to Matcha or Gyokuro green tea due to the light aging process (but less than regular tea or coffee).

This product was also introduced to the USA and Japan for the first time by Haraki-Gordon Green Tea, Inc.
This is the blend of Sencha and Red tea. Sencha is a ‘sun-grown’ green tea, and Red Tea is the blend of 5 different kinds of green tea breeds.
This tea combines the different nutritional benefits from both green tea and red tea.
It is Super intense in terms of health benefits.
Great both hot or cold.
